Pamela Bach, the former wife of actor David Hasselhoff, tragically died by suicide at the age of 62. Bach, who was married to Hasselhoff from 1989 to 2006, was best known for her appearances alongside him on popular TV shows like Knight Rider and Baywatch. She also had a role in The Young and the Restless. Her sudden passing has left her family and friends in shock, including her two daughters, Hayley, 32, and Taylor, 34, as well as her granddaughter, London.
According to reports, Hayley Hasselhoff was seen outside her mother’s home on Wednesday evening, visibly distraught. A neighbor told the Daily Mail that Hayley was “screaming and crying” as paramedics arrived at the scene around 9 p.m. The neighbor, identified as Osiecki, described the heartbreaking moment, saying, “Police tried to bring her in the house and close the door, but the door got opened. She was in and out a few times.”
Osiecki also noted that she and her husband recognized Hayley’s Mercedes-Benz parked in Bach’s driveway. “We couldn’t see what was going on in the house, but when she came out, she was crying like crazy,” the neighbor added. Osiecki shared that she last saw Bach on Monday, when the actress was seen taking out her trash, making the news of her death even more shocking.
On Thursday, David Hasselhoff broke his silence about his ex-wife’s passing in a heartfelt Facebook post. “Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff,” the statement read. “We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but we kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time.”
Hayley also paid tribute to her mother on social media, sharing a nostalgic photo of her parents smiling together on her Instagram Story. She accompanied the throwback image with a simple white heart emoji, a poignant gesture amid her grief.
Pamela Bach’s autopsy was completed on Thursday, and her body is expected to be released to a funeral home chosen by her family. The tragic loss has left her loved ones and the entertainment community mourning a life cut short.
As the Hasselhoff family processes this devastating loss, they have asked for privacy and understanding during this painful time. Bach’s legacy as an actress, mother, and grandmother will be remembered by those who knew and loved her.
